hii everyone!! 'im back to my blog after the mid exam and today lets discuss about historical place.

Historical place is an official location where pieces of political, military, cultural, or social history have been preserved due to their cultural heritage value. Historic sites are usually protected by law, and many have been recognized with the official national historic site status. A historic site may be any building, landscape, site or structure that is of local, regional, or national significance. Usually this also means the site must be at last 50 years or older. For the example like Machu Picchu, The Great Pyramid of Giza, and other.

So today im gonna explain about one of the historical place in my country, indonesia which is The Zero Point of Yogyakarta.

It located at panembahan senopati street 55121. When visiting Jogja, Malioboro and the Zero Kilometer Point Intersection are mandatory places to visit. Zero Kilometer Point, this is no ordinary intersection. The strategic location near the North Square, makes this place as one of the most appropriate places to enjoy the atmosphere of the city of Jogja. Also decorated with decorative lights and old buildings from the Dutch colonial heritage.

If you face south, you can see the Bank Indonesia building, the post office and the BNI building flanking the road to the palace. These three classic and exotic buildings are always used as photo objects for visitors.

There are also many street musicians who are active there. Jogjakarta musicians who appreciate their artistic soul on the streets. As a result this zero point atmosphere comes alive.

If you face north, you will see Malioboro Street as the main road. You will find the State Palace, Vendeburg Fort and the March 1 General Serangan Monument.

This monument is proof that this intersection has a high historical value. This monument was erected to appreciate the merits of heroes. Led by General Soedirman, a major attack was carried out to expel the Dutch from Yogyakarta.

Not far from the Serangan Umum 1 Maret Monument, there are several statues typical of the courtiers. This friendly, fat-shaped statue is named Bedjokarto. In the Javanese language Bedjo means profit and Karto means safe. This statue gives a message and hope for a safe, cool and peaceful Yogyakarta.

If you visit this special intersection, take a photo with Bedjokarto. And don't forget to keep clean.
